The best way to determine is to do an in person or online consult. It’s pretty rare we turn someone away. The consult will allow us to know if we are doing small, medium, or large transplant.

It usually takes all day. 5,000 grafts can take over 8-10 hours. 2000 grafts usually takes about 4-5 hours.
During the procedure you will be numb so you don’t feel anything. We give oral sedation so you can be more relaxed during the procedure.
We use lidocaine and bupivacaine. This are the same anesthesia used in dentistry (except that bupivacaine is longer lasting)

Pre- & Post-Op Questions
We have an entire pdf, video, and email that will be sent with instructions prior to your hair transplant appointment. No smoking or alcohol or blood thinners 1 week before. No alcohol or caffeine the day before. Eat a nice meal that morning.

Usually about two weeks but there are several things you can’t do even after 2 weeks -> sweating, swimming, steam rooms, or heaving lifting should be avoided for 4 weeks. Also, the hair takes 6-12 months to get the final results.
As long as you don’t sweat and avoid the sun at work -> you should be able to go back to work after 4-5 days. You need to avoid heavy lifting, and sweating for 4 weeks.
